what we do
our central objective of cultivating and enriching families
is achieved through our after school programs.
These programs run from September through May for the purpose
of providing a safe place for children to be after school.
We offer various programs for school age children.
K-5 Open Center
Tuesdays & Thursdays
Timeframe: School Dismissal to 5:30 PM
This is for students in grades K-5. Snacks are typically provided and activities include:
Help with homework
Reading time
Crafting time
Indoor & outdoor games
Trips to the park (weather permitting)
There may be periods of time when children are separated by age, and also by gender.
Kid’s Club
Timeframe: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Tuesdays (After Open Center)
During this structured time, activities include:
A simple supper
A lesson including:
Bible songs
Bible verses
Bible stories
Games
Object lessons
Additional stories
Kids Club is open to any child who has a signed permission slip from a parent.
There may be periods of time when children are separated by age, and also by gender.
Teen Night
Timeframe: School Dismissal to 6:30 PM
Wednesdays
This is for students in grade 6 & above and is more unstructured than our K-5 programs: we play some games, we eat meals together, we go to the park,
or we just hang out & chat
